Member Rebate Webinar Scheduled for September 27

One of the biggest member benefits offered by the Arkansas Home Builders Association is without a doubt the Member Rebate Program. The Rebate program rewards Builders and Remodelers for using over 50 participating manufacturers, and the process is SIMPLE! On average, the participating Builder/Remodeler received $1,176.00 in rebates for 2015 (more than double the cost of local membership dues).

Although there are numerous benefits to membership in the Arkansas Home Builders Association, the Rebate program ALONE is enough! Many participants in this program say they use the extra money to fund their vacations every year or use it for extra Christmas money. Whatever you use it for, who can argue with free money $$ for products you probably already use!

We have scheduled a webinar to learn more about this awesome program. It will be held on September 27 at 12:30 pm (central), and you can register at www.hbarebates.com/ahba.html
. You can participate on your own, or if you'd like (and we have enough response), you can come to the Arkansas HBA office and we'll provide lunch. To RSVP for lunch, please do so by emailing, calling, or texting Vicki Pickering, the Executive Vice President, at Vicki@arkansashomebuilders.org or (501) 563-5025.

AHBA Supports Brandon Anchor for State Senator in District 13

The Arkansas Home Builders Political Action Committee (PAC) has proudly contributed $2,000 to Brandon Anchor, who is running for State Senator in District 13. The AHBA PAC supports candidates who understand the importance of housing, construction, and economic growth in Arkansas. Brandon Anchor has shown a strong commitment to policies that promote homeownership, workforce housing, and responsible community development. “Brandon has been a consistent advocate for Arkansas’s builders and homeowners,” said John “Tommy” Wright, longtime builder and AHBA member from Maumelle. “We’re confident he will be a strong voice for the housing industry and for economic development in the State Senate.” Anchor expressed his appreciation for the support, and was honored to receive the endorsement and contribution from the AHBA PAC. Housing is key to the strength of our communities, and I look forward to working with home builders across the state to ensure Arkansas remains a great place to live and gr...
