Dear Arkansas HBA Members, I invite you to join me in Washington, D.C. for the NAHB Legislative Conference, where we will meet with our elected representatives and advocate for pro-housing and pro-building policies that directly impact our businesses, our industry, and the communities we serve. The main “Hill” day is Wednesday, June 10, and this is our opportunity to bring national attention to the local and state issues affecting builders, associates, and housing affordability right here in Northwest Arkansas. This is where advocacy meets action. A robust showing from NWA HBA sends a clear message: our members are engaged, informed, and ready to be part of the policy conversations that shape the future of housing. When lawmakers hear directly from the people building homes, supporting the industry, creating jobs, and strengthening local communities, it makes a difference. Members are also welcome to attend all or part of NAHB’s Spring Leadership Meeting, taking place June 9–13 in Washington, D.C. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from builders, associates, executive officers, and industry experts from across the country while gaining insight into the issues and ideas shaping our federation.
